BioShock has received a makeover using Epic's Unreal Engine 4.

User noodlespagoodle uploaded the video onto YouTube, which showcases how some of the original assets from BioShock appear when powered by Unreal Engine 4. The video (above) begins the walkthrough of the setting at the 1:16 mark.

The video showcases a Big Daddy, as well as various scenes in Rapture. The creator has said they might look into expand ing the project into a whole level, based on feedback received.

BioShock has not been the only game subject to the Unreal Engine 4 treatment. Earlier this month a user recreated Half-Life 2's City 17 introduction using the e ngine.

Developer Epic made Unreal Engine 4 more accessible in March this year by bundling it with a monthly $19 subscription service. The tools are geared specifically toward development on PC, iOS, Android, and Mac.
