Endurance, night time, discipline - there's a joke in there somewhere I'm sure of it.

Codemasters have been putting a lot of effort into making GRID Autosport something motorsports fans will enjoy, and it's looking like they might actually pull it off. Their latest video and post on the Codemasters Blog, demonstrating the Endurance discipline certainly has me cautiously optimistic.
One of five unique racing disciplines which will be available in GRID Autosport, Endurance is all about the long haul – up to 12 players in an online grid (16 offline) tearing up tracks for up to 40 minutes at a time – all while their car slowly falls to pieces around them. Sure, it's not the 24 hour insanity you used to see in Gran Turismo, but it should still prove pretty interesting.
