Insomniac Games, creator of Resistance, Sunset Overdrive, and Ratchet and Clank, has announced its newest project. Called Slow Down Bull, it is a small game designed to channel the indie spirit of the studio. This means that t he development team consists of only 4-5 people.
In Slow Down Bull, you take control of a bull and attempt to collect valuable objects. But the bull's instinct is to destroy these things. So you must balance the desire to collect with the increasing agitation of the bull.
"Slow Down Bull is a small action game about a stressed out, overachiever bull named Axel," Insomni ac explains. "He loves collecting beautiful things, but has to overcome his innate bull nature to accomplish his goals. Axel tries very hard to be graceful and cautious while he collects, but it's very stressful! What if he bumps into someone? What if his bull-like nature erupts and ruins everything he's trying to collect? What if he messes up?"
Insomniac will be live-streaming the development of the game every Friday. You can watch the streams starting next week on Insomniac's Twitch channel.
The rest of Insomniac is working on Sunset Overdrive for the Xbox One and a PlayStation 4 reimagining of the first Ratchet and Clank.
