The World Cup Comes to Kerbal Space Program With Its First Official Mod

Written By blogger on Friday, June 27, 2014 | 3:48 PM

Kerbal Space Program, the spacecraft construction simulator, is getting a bit of a soccer makeover to celebrate the World Cup. Developer Squad recently launched Kerbin Cup, the first official mod, which brings soccer balls and flags to adorn your Kerbal ships.

The mod adds two sizes of soccer balls to the game: the first matches the Kerbal creatures that fly the ships, the other is rocket-sized. 32 flags for all 32 countries who made it to the World Cup are also in the mod.

You can pick up the completely free mod on Curse. Squad will be running contests and giveaways throughout the World Cup using the mod and the Kerbal Space Program communities. The game is discounted during the Steam Summer Sale going on now.
