Sega has announced a new single-player expansion for Company of Heroes 2, called Ardennes Assault. The expansion features 18 new single-player missions, more than what the main Company of Heroes 2 offered.
Based on the 1944 Battle of the Bulge--estimated to have the most American casualties of any World War II conflict--players control three new US companies fighting against the German Oberkommando West forces in the Ardennes. Each company has their own unique officers and play styles.
Sega announced that player's decisions transfer from mission to mission, impacting the conf lict and story. While upgrades and Veterancy bonuses carry over, players are limited in the amount of soldiers available.
Earlier this year, developer Relic released the expansion Company of Heroes 2: The Western Front Armies. The company recently discussed the challenge of bringing strategy games on to consoles.
Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault will launch on November 18 for PC.
