The first trailer for Assassin's Creed Rogue was a CG-laden piece of video, but now Ubisoft has published a pair of gameplay demos for the game, showing us what it actually looks like and how it plays. The trailers show off naval battles in the frozen North Atlantic and hand-to-hand combat on land.
Set during the Seven Years' War, Assass in's Creed Rogue flips the franchise's formula on its head and lets you play as a Templar named Shay Patrick Cormack. The game does not have any multiplayer whatsoever, which we recently found out as part of massive info blowout for the title.
Assassin's Creed Rogue launches November 11 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, while Assassin's Creed Unity comes to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 28. We published new previews for both games today:
