The Halo theme is a beautiful piece of composition, but now you can experience it like never before. While trekking through Switzerland recently, a hiker named Max stumbled on an empty chapel. As it turned out, the acoustics in the church were just right, allowing for the kind of reverb necessary for one man to belt out the Halo theme and have it sound like a professional recording. Watch the video above and be amazed.
The Halo: The Master Chief Collection, a bundle of the four numbered Halo games with remastered graphics, launches on November 11 for Xbox One. This collection includes the four games, Ridley Scott's Halo: Nightfall, and beta access for Halo 5: Guardians. Meanwhile, Halo creator Bungie's upcoming game, Destiny, launches this September.
