Ahead of The Evil Within's release this October, publisher Bethesda has published a 60-minute gameplay video in which marketing executive Pete Hines plays through a portion of the game.
"I will try to keep the swearing to a minimum, but I make no promises," Hines says, referencing the game's scare-factor. After all, The Evil Within was designed by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami.
The video you see above is from the ninth chapter of The Evil Within, and is the same demo that Gamescom attendees got to play. He makes some mistakes along the way, and at one point jokes, "This is like a tutorial video on how not to play The Evil Within."
The Evil Within, which we recently learned will take 15-20 hours to compl ete, launches October 14 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. A $20 DLC pass with three expansions will also be available.
