While tickets to attend BlizzCon 2014 in person are completely sold out, you can still attend the event, albeit virtually. Blizzard Entertainment has now started selling BlizzCon 2014 virtual tickets, available today from the event's website for $40 each.

Tickets provide ac cess to two days of live, high-definition video feeds across two channels. On-demand replays and DVR functionality are also available, allowing you to catch up on programming you might have missed.

Some of the BlizzCon 2014 programming you'll have access to with a virtual ticket includes developer panels and interviews for games like World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, Diablo III, HearthStone: Heroes of Warcraft, and Heroes of the Storm. Virtual tickets also let you watch various costume and talent contests, as well as the Saturday night concert. Last year's musical act was rock band Blink 182, but details for this year's show have not been announced.

In addition, buying a BlizzCon 2014 virtual ticket gets you in-game items for World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, Diablo III, Hearthstone, and Heroes of the Storm. More details about this content is coming at a later date.

If you don't want to buy a BlizzCon virtual ticket, you can still catch some of the action. The BlizzCon 2014 opening ceremony, as well as various BlizzCon eSports tournaments, will be streamed for free and in high-definition through the event's website.

BlizzCon 2014 runs November 7-8 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
