In Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Snake will be able to call in support characters to help him on his missions. So far, Konami has focused on Quiet, a controversial female character that can cover Snake from vantage points he can't reach.
Today, Konami revealed a new supporting buddy, a wolf named Diamond Dog, or DD for short. In a new video from TGS 2014, we see Snake first find DD in the wilderness next to a dead older wolf when he's just a little cub. Snake adopts DD, and we later see him as an adult wolf, who like snake, wears an eyepatch.
