Microsoft today released an impressively produced live-action trailer for the upcoming Xbox exclusive racing game, Forza Horizon 2, due out September 30 for Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The trailer is called "Leave Your Limits," and it "truly embodies the spirit of the game," Microsoft says in a post today on the Xbox Wire.
The ad was created by Microsoft and creative agency twofifteenmccann, which was also behind videos for Halo: The Master Chief Collection a nd Ryse: Son of Rome, among others. It was directed by commercials director Adam Berg.
The Forza Horizon 2 trailer begins by showing a series of cars--including the game's signature 2014 Lamborghini Huracan--on an electronic slot car track. These cars then break free from the track and proceed to drive across a series of exotic locations.
"Not a bad way to spend a few days," Berg says about filming the spot.
Wondering what that delightful and bouncy song is? It's called "Prisencoline nsinainciusol," from Italian singer Adriano Celentano.
Though Forza Horizon 2 doesn't launch until later this month, Xbox One owners can play a demo today. In other Forza Horizon 2 news, Microsoft recently announced DLC plans for the game, which includes both free and paid vehicles.
