Today's Bayonetta 2 Nintendo Direct briefing kicks off at 3 PM PDT / 6 PM EDT, and you can watch the entire presentation right here in this post. "New details" for the Wii U game are expected to be divulged during the broadcast, said to last around a half-hour, but that's all we know right now.
Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U exclusive, unlike the 2010 original, which was released on Xbox 360 and PlayS tation 3. That game's developer, Platinum Games, is also behind Bayonetta 2.
The original Bayonetta is included with Bayonetta 2 physical and digital copies at no extra cost. Earlier this week, Nintendo announced Bayonetta 2's release date: October 24
Bayonetta 2 includes a number of features not found in the original, including a new snake transformation that lets Bayonetta move better in underwater passages. In addition, we learned at E3 in June that Bayonetta 2 will include mechs.
