Just two months out from E3 2014, PlayStation company Sony Computer Entertainment America has filed a trademark application for a new game called "Bloodborne." Sony filed the trademark application (spotted by Siliconera) with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) on April 24.
It covers, "Computer game software; Downloadable computer game software via a global comput er network and wireless devices; Video game software." Unfortunately, that's all we know, and a PlayStation representative was not immediately available for comment.
Sony has kept busy trademarking new game titles in the lead-up to E3.
Earlier this month, the company trademarked unannounced games called Kill Strain and Entwined. If Sony is to announce these games at E3 this summer, we don't have much longer to wait. E3 2014 runs June 10-12 in Los Angeles, though Sony typically holds its main presentation--where new titles are often announced--on the Monday before the official start to the show.
It's also worth noting that just because Sony has trademarked new game titles, it does not mean such games are necessarily in development.
