The Elder Scrolls Online gets free "Craglorn" update this week

The Elder Scrolls Online, Bethesda's recently released MMORPG, will receive a major patch this week that will introduce Craglorn, the game's first adventure zone. The developer told IGN that testing is nearly done, and the patch should arrive on Thursday or Friday.

When released, the Craglorn update will be free, though of course The Elder Scrolls O nline requires a $15/month subscription. When Bethesda originally announced Craglorn back in April, the developer said it will feature content geared toward high-level players.

"There's a lot of different monsters we throw at you and, of course, there are boss monsters that have interesting tactics you haven't encountered anywhere in the game before," creative director Paul Sage said at the time. < /p>

The Elder Scrolls Online was released in early April for PC. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions were previously expected to launch in June, but Bethesda recently delayed the console versions to a release six months from now.
