Ahead of Nintendo's E3 press conference today at 9 a.m. PDT, a Time Magazine report (via International Business Times) reveals an all-new Star Fox game for Wii U. Legendary Nintendo designer Shigeru Miyamoto is leading development on the game, according to the report.
Time Magazine writes that the new Star Fox game for Wii U is "still fundamentally a spaceship-based shooter." You'll apparently use the GamePad motion controls to aim and fire an Arwing's weapons. You'll also be able to transform your Arwing into a land tank, taking the fight to the ground.
According to Time Magazine, the upcoming Star Fox game for Wii U has a new vehicle mode where two players can pilot a helicopter-esque aircraft. It looks like Time Magazine is trying to pull their story, but you can still see a partial version of the report.
Nintendo's E3 press conference kicks off at 9 a.m. PDT today. GameSpot will host a livestream of the event. Check back soon for more.
