Ahead of the hotly hyped United States vs. Germany match today at 12 noon EDT, Electronic Arts executive Peter Moore has tweeted an image of himself standing next to USMNT coach Jurgen Klinsmann.
The picture is from 1996. At the time, Moor e was working as a marketing executive at Reebok and Klinsmann (wearing a Reebok shirt) was Bayern Munich's top goalscorer. Now, Moore is COO at EA and Klinsmann is leading the next era of the USMNT.
Moore has also held through World Cup trophy, so we're pretty jealous.
The USA vs. Germany game kicks off at 12 noon. EDT today on ESPN. A win or a tie sends the US through to the knock-out stage, while a loss makes advancing somewhat trickier to understand.
