Riot Games will be rolling out a new look for League of Legends' main map, Summoner's Rift.
The announcement was posted on the official League of Legends blog today. While the update will change the way the map looks, its structure will stay the same. Flashable walls, turret ranges, lane sizes, brush interaction, and ward placements will remain untouched.
The two opposing sides of the map will be updated to better reflect the visual differences between its Western half and Eastern half. Neutral creeps will also be updated with new designs to "more accurately reflect th eir respective gameplay characteristics."
Riot Games was unable to provide a launch window for the update, but did confirm it would be rolling out more information via developer blogs, live Q&A sessions, and include development news in patch notes.
