To celebrate E3, Nintendo has launched a sale for games on the eShop, offering a 30% discount on more than a dozen titles for Wii U and 3DS.
Among the highlights are The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD for $35 (regularly $50), The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for $28 (regularly $40), and the Wii U Virtual Console version of Super Mario World for $5.59 (regularly $8). The recently released Wii U VC version of Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3--which, confusingly, is the Game Boy Advance version of Sup er Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island--is also discounted to $5.59 (regularly $8).
Not everything on sale is worth picking up--most notably, Yoshi is mediocre at best in my estimation. But if you're interested in digital games and perhaps were just convinced today to buy a Wii U today (given Zelda's showing at Nintendo's E3 Digital Event this morning, that would be understandable), this is a cheaper-than-usual way to flesh out your collection.
