This is usually the kind of news I'd find on Friday, but gracefully it popped up earlier in the week for your viewing pleasure. Curse Australia, the team previously known as T1.Dotters when they made their charge through the Call of Duty World Championships to finish as the highest ranking foreigners, have admitted on Reddit that one of their players was a "disgrace" at times and he has since been kicked.

Outlining the roster change in a post – not something Australian teams usually care about, but when you become a part of an international organisation standards change – Curse Australia's Issei "Issei" Chimura explained that 13-year-old Louqa had filled the shoes of Billie-Jake "Chilean" Parra, whose behaviour was less than ideal. "This roster change was purely a management decision however it was influenced by past scenarios involving Chilean as a player and his representation of the Organisation Curse," Chimura wrote.

Unfortunately, Louqa's age means that Curse may need another 5th for the Call of Duty championships next year – unless Activision gives them an exemption – and as a result, they are actively looking for a reserve just in case. "People who are saying this is a "dumb decision", well you can look at it like that or you can think of the big picture rather than tunnelling onto one event," Chimura added.

Curse Australia are currently well behind the 8-ball on the Australian Cyber League rankings for Call of Duty, finishing 5th-8th in the recent ACL 2K Series. Team Immunity are currently enjoying a purple patch, although it won't count for much if they don't win the tournament that matters.
