12 classes, plenty of loot, and many monsters to kill.

The fact that the multiplayer of Mass Effect 3 was actually really good was probably my biggest surprise of that year, so I'm very excited to hear the official announcement yesterday that Dragon Age: Inquisition will be getting a similar offering.
Revealed in a new multiplayer FAQ document, the mode will be a four-player dungeon-crawling co-op experience, but won't be linked to the single-player campaign in any way — with BioWare obviously learning the lessons from the overwhelming criticism of that idea in Mass Effect 3. It will, however, have in-game purchases with "platinum", although BioWare stress that "you can buy anything with gold coins", which is the currency you get while playing.
Here's the word on classes:
Twelve characters, four for each class (warrior, rogue, and mage), will be available at launch. Characters from the same class can be very different. For example, let's take a Legionnaire and a Reaver. A Legionnaire can handle a weapon and shield and plays the role of a classic tank. Generating aggro and soaking up damage are his main role in a party. The Reaver is a two-handed warrior who focuses more on dealing damage and generating aggro, and her skills can buff herself or the entire party. The Legionnaire and the Reaver are both warriors, but depending on your party composition and your style, one may be more suitable than the other.
