It was not specified how long this process w ould take.
A few days ago, 4J Studios stated that it was still f ixing bugs for the Xbox One, PS4, and PS Vita versions of Minecraft. The games are expected to launch in August. The developer has since followed up with a tweet that it was still "bug-fixing" the Xbox One and PlayStation Vita versions of the game.
Minecraft has sold 54 million copies across multiple platforms since its full release on PC in 2011. If you already own the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 version of Minecraft, you can purchase the game on Xbox One or PS4 for $5, and save files will be transferable. The game could potentially see release for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U one day.
