Ubisoft has clarified that its new Assassin's Creed bundle will not be released on PC, as previously stated through official channels.
On Monday, Ubisoft revealed Assassin's Creed The Americas Collection, which includes copies of Assassin's Creed III (2012), Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (2013), and Assassin's Creed III Liberation HD (2014).
While Ubisoft repr esentatives in North America said the package was due for release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, a press release sent to European media stated that the collection was also due for release on PC too. Ubisoft has since clarified to GameSpot that this listing was made in error, and that the collection is only due for Sony and Microsoft's last-gen consoles.
The Americas Collection will ship in the UK on October 3 and will launch across North America on October 28.
This collection will mark the third Assassin's Creed product due to reach retail in 2014, with Ubisoft also preparing to release Assassin's Creed Rogue (Xbox 360 and PS3) and Assassin's Creed Unity (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC) in November.
In the UK, The Americas C ollection will undergo a slight name revision, called Assassin's Creed Birth of a New World - The American Saga.
