Ubisoft is hosting an interactive website that offers an online tour of Paris, complete with historical information on the capital city, as part of its promotional work on the upcoming action adventure Assassin's Creed: Unity.
The website offers a 360-degree image of the city to explore, much in the same way as Google Street View, with roads and buildings peppered with info icons that offer some details on eighteenth century Paris. Assassin's Creed: Unity, the latest instalment in the series, sets its story in the same time and place.
Participants can discover hotspots, locate hidden Unity art and play various YouTube videos. There's also an RPG element to the website, with each discovery adding to an overall completion percentage. Andy Serkis, the actor most famous for his portrayal of Gollum in the Lord of the Rings films, narrates on occasion too.

Assassin's Creed: Unity will be the first edition in the series set for next-gen consoles and PC only. The game ships across North America on November 11, and in Europe on November 13.
