Two of the games industry's most recognizable voice actors have discussed the first time they have shared scenes in a video game.
Nolan North (Uncharted series) and Troy Baker (BioShock) are both starring in Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, an upcoming action game published by Warner Bros.
In the behind-the-scenes video, above, North explains that working with Baker in the same scenes is a new experience for both.
"We've been on other performance capture games, but our two characters didn't collide," he explained.
The video also offers brief glimpses of scenes featuring both North, who plays The Black Hand of Sauron, and Baker, who plays the game's protagonist Talion.
North, perhaps most famous for his work as Uncharted hero Nathan Drake, says, "it's so much fun for me to play the darker character".
Performance capture is a process where a group of actors are recorded together, with positional data on their faces and bodies recorded. Because it allows actors to work off each other, as well as read each other's emotions, it tends to create a more natural kind of performance.
