Grand Strategy and Bullet Hell, together at last.

Arcen Games have a bit of a tradition of genre mashups in their games. A Valley Without Wind, Skyward Collapse, AI Wars – all brought seemingly disparate genres together with varying levels of success.
The Last Federation, Arcen Games latest title, really ups the madness though – taking the graphs and numbers of Grand Strategy, the diplomacy and colonisation of 4X, Frozen Synapse's style of Turn Based Tactics and the utter chaos of a Bullet Hell shooter and smashing them together to make something easy to pick up and incredibly deep beneath the surface.
The Last Federation starts you off as a mercenary with very little sway among the eight races inhabiting the solar system, but before too long you begin influencing the right people and shaping the galaxy to your whims. You can check out the trailer below to see The Last Federation in action and you can grab the game right now from Steam.
Put the internet to work for you.
