World of Warcraft will be receiving a new motorcycle design based on the winner of the Azeroth Choppers web series.
The winning design was announced on the World of Warcraft blog today, with the Horde team taking the win by vote count. Fans from all around the world were able to participate in voting.
The chopper will be launched in the World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor expansion, which is scheduled to be released in Fall this year.
The Azeroth Choppers web series kicked off in April this year and finished with eight episodes. The show featured two teams of Blizzard developers who were led by custom motorcycle designer Paul Jr. in building two real-life motorcycles to represent the warring Horde and the Alliance factions respectively. The winning team would see their design implemented in-game.
Blizzard's senior vice president Chris Metzen took the lead for Team Alliance and art director Samwise Didier led Team Horde. For more on World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
