First it was L.A. Noire, then earlier this year it became Watch Dogs. The record for fastest selling first week sales in the United Kingdom for a brand new IP has changed hands yet again, with Gamasutra reporting that Activision's Destiny is now the holder of the title.
According to figures provided by Chart-Track, 46 percent of Destiny sales in the UK were on the PlayStation 4, although the sales split across PlayStation and Xbox overall was an even 50/50 thanks to PS3 sales only accounting for a meagre 4 percent. The Xbox 360 accounted for a much larger 14 percent of total sales in the region, while the remaining 36 percent of sales were for the Xbox One.
