Supports all types of headsets, which is nice.

Who doesn't like free stuff? Everyone likes free stuff. I give out free stuff all the time at my day job. Occasionally people ask me, "Why are you giving me free stuff?" Then I point out that I have chocolate and it's a stupid question and take the damn free stuff already.
The same sentiment applies with this news from Razer, who have decided to spread some middle of the year joy by making their Surround Pro virtual surround sound calibration software free for a month only. "Razer's Surround Pro software allows users to easily set up any stereo headset to 7.1 virtual surround sound, through a simple set of calibration tools," the press release says.
After June, the premium features will be accessible only for US$19.95, although a free version of the software will be available. To explain how the software works, Razer has a neat little YouTube video with some rather cool animations.
You can try the software at the Razerzone website.
